The droplets are small and the wet may not last long, but it's raining good news for LSCs:
First, Small Talk reports that an important victory at Telpochcalli has taken place, democracy works, etc.
Then, a survey reported in Catalyst shows overwhelming support for LSCs -- from principals. Who woulda guessed that? There's also a story about likely declines in the number of schools on probation -- also good for LSCs.
Last but not least, I'm told that the LSC advocates, funders, and Boardistas may be close to figuring out what to do with LSC Relations in the post-Deanes era and how to train and support LSC members.
Why wasn't the high turnout in the LSC elections covered by the Sun-Times or Tribune?

Because nobody outside of this blog really gives a flying hoot.
